War in the Middle East

We all know there is a war over in the Middle East, and that a lot of people want us out now. I thought we here are all mature enough to discuss our opinions without needing to lock this or anything.

Anyways, I support the war. Why? Because, we started it and need to finish it right. We went over to make sure that there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction, but since they didn't let us go in and check we had to overthrow their government in Iraq. Now we're redoing Vietnam in the desert, but if we leave without finishing, we'll just have to go back in ten years.

In Afghanistan I hear we're making progress, plus if we stop Al-Quida we stop a lot of problems there. Now we just need to solve our problems with Iran and the Middle East will be peaceful for the first time ever.

but what are your opinions on it?

To be honest, I'm more or less apathic to the whole situation there. Sure, it's a major crisis over there, and if the States can do a good job there, Al-Quida may be taken down, which will lead to a bigger safety level in the world, but I've never bothered with indulging myself too much into it, therefore leaving me to choose the middle thing.

Honestly, My vote dosn't really fit into any of the three poll options up there.

I really never saw why we went into Iraq first. We should've went to Afghanistan, and looked under every stone for Bin Laden. We probably would've found him by now if we focused more on Afghanistan than Iraq. But it's good that Hussein is out of power (and dead now); Iraq definitely came along.

I'm more worried about North Korea personally.
